Standing at the beginning of 2022 and looking back at 2021, if the "suddenly" popular "Metaverse" is the "culmination" of global technology in the past decade and the product of the torrent of the times, then facing the trend of the "Metaverse" era, 2021 is a year of accumulation and development for Xvisio Technology.

Looking back
We've completed the strategic adjustment and upgrade of our product from a provider of underlying core technology to a comprehensive AR solutions provider. We've deployed platform-based products that leverage our years of accumulated core, underlying technologies for perception and interaction. Furthermore, we've meticulously refined and prepared for mass production of our own-brand AR products for industry applications, achieving a commercially closed-loop deployment of system solutions covering all AR scenarios. Let's take a look back at some of Xvisio Technology's exciting moments in 2021.

In November 2021, Xvisio Technology, in collaboration with industry ecosystem partners Alibaba Cloud and Parallel Cloud, demonstrated a large-scale immersive digital tour guide based on lightweight AR devices and integrated cloud and end-to-end technology at the EPSON China International Import Expo (CIIE) booth covering 540 square meters. The booth utilized virtual sandbox technology, AR navigation, and scene recognition to provide visitors with a brand-new immersive digital tour experience.

Achieved multiple technological breakthroughs
① Precise spatial anchoring and combination of virtual and real
Xvisio Technology has established a complete technical system and workflow for high-precision positioning and virtual-reality overlay in the XR field, enabling deployment on all-optical hardware terminal platforms (PC, Android, and Linux). This accumulated expertise provides the industry with a variety of technical options.
② Open up the Ren and Du meridians of your mobile phone
Leveraging Xvisio Technology's unique split-edge processing architecture, it achieves low-latency processing on non-rooted phones, delivering the same experience as custom devices. This technology breaks the market impasse for 6DOF AR glasses in the mobile market, rapidly boosting the mobile platform-based content ecosystem and significantly expanding the Metaverse's reach.
③ Create 6DoF interactive products that collaborate with your head and hands
In terms of immersive interaction, AR and VR both require 6DOF head tracking. The difference is that AR focuses on understanding the environment, while VR emphasizes acquiring spatial information. Regarding hand interaction, AR favors natural gestures, while VR favors controllers. 6DOF controllers have become standard for VR devices. Facebook (Meta) recently released a controller with built-in camera active tracking, based on an independent VSLAM computing unit, representing the industry's technological direction. Xvisio Technology launched a similar product design as early as 2018 and has been granted a US patent. Xvisio Technology also supports CV-based 6DOF controller solutions, and a quad-camera-based 6DOF head-hand solution is already in the process of being commercialized.
In the field of natural gesture interaction, Xvisio Technology has developed high-speed gesture recognition technology based on AI algorithms. This product platform is also compatible with other gesture solutions on the market.
④ Multi-person collaboration, end-cloud integration, and cross-time and space interaction
Xvisio Technology, leveraging its powerful edge-processing sensor fusion and VSLAM technology, has achieved real-time 3D reconstruction, map creation and sharing, scene recognition, and end-to-end cloud integration, laying the foundation for multi-person remote collaboration and providing a rapid deployment platform for virtual simulation and digital twins.
⑤ Immersive volumetric video content generation
Leveraging powerful on-device processing and sensor fusion capabilities, Xvisio Technology's SlimEdge XR platform provides RGB video streams with high-precision synchronized depth point clouds and pose information. This platform can be used for volumetric video capture, rapid XR content creation, and 3D object reconstruction, facilitating the creation of immersive user-generated content (UGC) in the metaverse era. Creators can use head-mounted XR devices for first-person perspective capture or Xvisio Technology's standalone camera for third-person perspective capture.
⑥ Core technology platform to help Metaverse applications land
Since its inception, Xvisio Technology has adhered to a development path that integrates algorithms and hardware, from underlying sensors to product platforms. While serving leading industry clients, the company has built comprehensive core technology and product deployment capabilities, launching a diverse portfolio of AR/VR solutions and machine vision modules. Currently, Xvisio Technology's core business models are customized ODM services based on core perception and interaction technologies for the XR industry, as well as standardized platform product delivery, to support the implementation of Metaverse applications.

Looking to the future
In 2022, driven by the wave of the national "metaverse",
Xvisio Technology will not forget its original intention,
Continue to work hard in the field of perception and interaction,
Committed to creating XR perception interaction for industry applications
Platform products and system solutions,
Building the path to the metaverse,
Reshape the immersive "new vision" of virtual-real integration.
