Xvisio Technology was invited to participate in this event and stood out from 50 registered companies. Together with 30 companies including KPMG and Shanghai Fuhuan Technology, it was successfully selected as the third batch of empowered customers of Microsoft Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Lab.

As Microsoft's largest artificial intelligence and Internet of Things laboratory in the world, over the past year, the laboratory has attracted companies from key industries such as smart manufacturing, smart retail, smart cities, smart finance, and smart healthcare to settle in by leveraging Zhangjiang's strong scientific research resources, concentrated innovative elements, and comprehensive supporting facilities, as well as Microsoft's brand, services, technology, and industrial chain advantages, accelerating the realization of transformation and empowerment.

By the end of May 2020, the laboratory had connected with over 300 companies, empowered two batches of 60 companies, produced 30 project results, established two joint laboratories with renowned companies such as RHI Magnesium and Ecovacs, and hosted 50 events, attracting over 7,000 visitors. With the support of the New District Government and Zhangjiang Science City, laboratory companies have received multi-dimensional empowerment, including technological advancement, strategic alignment, and policy support, truly achieving the goal of "making the laboratory more than just a laboratory."

Guan Xiaojun, Deputy Mayor of Pudong New Area, stated that the outstanding customer outcomes enabled by the lab demonstrate the mature technology and resource advantages of Microsoft Labs. The continued influx of outstanding companies and talent also demonstrates the impact of the collaborative efforts between Microsoft and the Pudong New Area government on the science and innovation ecosystem. Going forward, we hope to leverage Microsoft's innovative empowerment capabilities as a new starting point and opportunity to help Pudong New Area achieve its 2025 doubling goal and ultimately become a globally influential and representative AI innovation and empowerment center.

Yuan Tao, Chairman of Zhangjiang Group, stated that the Microsoft Lab's past year has been one of hard work and remarkable achievements. Going forward, the Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Cluster and the Zhangjiang AI Empowerment Center, centered around AIsland, will help Zhangjiang Science City become a hub for resource allocation, innovation, industry leadership, open collaboration, and demonstration applications in the AI industry. This will drive the overall industrial upgrading of Pudong, the doubling of its economic scale, and a leap forward in the quality of development.

Xvisio Technology, a provider of spatial perception and interaction solutions, primarily provides underlying technologies and system integration services for AR/VR headsets. Powered by the Intel Myriad X high-performance AI edge processing chip, this platform not only delivers the high precision, low latency, and low power consumption required for AR/VR headsets, but also integrates all the sensory interaction functions required for AR/VR headsets, including spatial perception, depth processing, audio and video interaction, gesture recognition, object recognition, and eye tracking, all in one place. It can adapt to and drive various optical machines, boasts independent and mature system calibration capabilities, and provides a rich SDK for customers in various scenarios to directly develop products on the platform.

At the same time, its powerful end-to-end processing capabilities can perfectly support end-to-end ATW system-level delay compensation optimization processing, and realize low-latency push of cloud rendering based on 5G transmission to end devices, which maximizes the solution to the overall link delay problem of ARVR glasses and allows 5G-based cloud rendering to bring an even more extreme improvement in the visual experience of ARVR users.
