Xvisio takes part in the Yunqi Conference

On September 19th, the annual Alibaba Cloud Conference opened in Hangzhou with great fanfare. Xvisio Technology, a rising star in computer vision technology from Silicon Valley and a Movidius solution partner of Intel, was invited to participate in a vSLAM+AI technology demonstration at Intel's Intelligent Driving exhibition area. Xvisio's high-speed binocular vSLAM+AI embedded system module, hailed by the industry as the fastest, smallest, and lowest-power edge processing solution, directly outputs 6DOF information without backend processing. Its horizontal resolution and tracking accuracy reach millimeter levels, enabling real-time positioning, high-speed tracking, navigation, obstacle avoidance, object recognition, and 3D modeling for AR/VR/MR headsets, various robots, and autonomous driving applications. This marks the industry's first on-device integration of environmental perception vSLAM and environmental awareness AI.

It is reported that the Xvisio startup team includes former technical executives from Nokia and Lucent, who specialize in low-power embedded system development and have 20 years of experience in signal and image processing. There is also a PhD in robotics who has been engaged in vSLAM algorithm research for a decade. The vice president of its AI team has served as an algorithm scientist at FairChild Imaging, Vimicro, and APP in the United States. An executive with in-depth research and expertise in AI, Mr. Lin Qiong holds extensive connections in both academia and industry. A graduate of the University of Southern California and Tsinghua University, he is a seasoned computer vision system architect with 15 years of experience in image sensing technology. He has held senior positions at world-renowned image sensor companies such as Toshiba, APTINA, and ON Semiconductor, and holds several U.S. patents.

In addition to its strong team, Xvisio's products have also achieved significant success in market validation, from establishing a Movidius solution partnership with Intel and initially implementing low-power product strategies using the Movidius VPU, to collaborating with leading manufacturers on innovative vSLAM applications in AR, and finally achieving perfect integration with HoloLens in numerous customer project developments.
