Based on Epson's latest lightweight, high-definition optical module, the VM-40, and equipped with the Xvisio SlimEdge XR 6DOF perception and interaction engine, these AR glasses seamlessly integrate Epson's optical solution with 6DOF interaction capabilities, achieving a seamless immersion experience in 3D space. Users can interact through gestures, posture, and voice. These AR glasses are 5G-enabled and easily scalable, supporting both split and integrated configurations. They can simultaneously connect up to 50 users, sharing content displayed on the main control server's large screen and enabling local interaction, creating a closed-loop solution from the content generation platform to content distribution, usage, and interaction.
Epson is optimistic about the solution's potential in K12 education, higher education, and vocational education. Over the next three months, it will focus on optimizing wearing comfort and performance, as well as developing and improving courseware content.
